As a Partner at Paracle, I am responsible for setting firm-wide standards and making sure the families we serve have a positive overall experience. I am highly involved with integrating initial financial planning with investment strategy, as well as facilitating discussions with experts in areas of risk management. As life events occur, I am an additional perspective and resource, always ready to make sure our clients feel confident in their decision-making.
I co-founded Paracle in 2004 with two like-minded colleagues because we felt the traditional brokerage model largely underserved investors. We believe that we can and should bring more to the families we serve beyond just investment advice. We strive to deliver what I would want as a busy parent… a customized plan that is comprehensive, thoughtful, and clear; a relationship with an Advisor I trust, who is proactive and keeps me on track so I have one less thing to think about; and the support of a team of experienced and credentialed professionals that my family can rely on.
I love learning about people’s lives and what is important to them. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to best connect and communicate with different types of people and how to make financial discussions interesting and engaging. Most of all, I find great satisfaction in bringing organization and simplification to the sometimes complicated world of personal finance.
I always dreamed of creating a work environment where employees are dedicated to their profession and the families we serve, as well as passionate about inner-office fun competitions. I am thrilled to be part of a team of energetic and talented people who enjoy spending time together and enthusiastically participate in our Bike To Work month competition. We collectively strive to ride 5,000 miles and smaller teams compete for ‘fame and glory’ and silly prizes.
I believe honesty and transparency are the most important aspects of our business. Building trust with the families we serve and empowering our clients to make confident financial decisions is only successful in an environment where there is no question about motives and the clients’ best interests always come first.

Outside the Office
Why did you choose your prop?
I love cycling with my family and friends. My husband and I enjoy long gravel rides in Leavenworth and Thursday night Seward park criterium races, while my children and I enjoy racing mountain bikes at North SeaTac and riding our tandem over the North Cascades Highway. I love commuting to work on what I describe as the “best bike commute ever,” and I am proud of how much our office rallies for Bike To Work month!
What else do you do like to do for fun?
Summer is filled with swim meets at Viewridge, sailing at Sand Point and waterskiing. In the fall, I coach my daughter’s soccer team and help lead her Girl Scout troop. In the winter, I spend weekends downhill (and uphill!) skiing at Alpental with my family. And the spring seems to be all about baseball with two boys in love with the sport!
If you could trade places with any person or movie character for a day, who would it be and why?
I’d love to trade places with my mother when she was growing up in Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. I grew up hearing stories of the Hawaiian culture, life in a small town surrounded by extended family and the slower pace of “Island time”. I’d enjoy experiencing this through her eyes.
