Paracle wins 2013 Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. Pacesetter IMPACT Award™.
Paracle Advisors LLC., is excited to announce that it has been awarded the Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. 2013 Pacesetter Award. The Pacesetter IMPACT Award™ recipient is selected by a group of prominent business leaders and honors one independent investment firm that has achieved accelerated growth by demonstrating tremendous initiative, vision, leadership and promise in their quest to provide advice to individual investors. Paracle is the only Seattle-based firm to have won this award.
Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. is a leading provider of custodial services to independent investment advisors, serving 7,000 firms and $837 billion in investment assets, more than the combined total assets held by other custodians who serve independent investment advisors. As a leader and advocate in the independent advisor community, Schwab works to recognize those firms who have advanced the industry and achieved success through exemplary business practices.
Paracle was founded in 2004 by EJ Brink, Joshua Harris, and Anne Marie Kessler with a vision of creating a service-driven firm to help individuals and families simplify complex financial decisions and receive unbiased management of their investments. Nearly ten years later, with approximately $480 million in assets under management, Paracle’s success remains rooted in its dedication to provide clear and uncompromised advice. This straightforward philosophy has led to an average growth of 29% per year.
“We are honored to receive this award from Charles Schwab, the industry leader, and to be recognized for our drive to care for our clients and offer them sound financial advice provided in a simple matter-of-a-fact manner,” said Paracle Founder EJ Brink. “We pride ourselves in our transparent and objective approach toward planning and investments and our ability to identify the solutions, strategies and advice that fulfills our commitment to come alongside and help our clients.”
“Paracle earned the 2013 IMPACT Pacesetter Award for demonstrating a forward-thinking focus on client needs and practice management,” said Bernie Clark, executive vice president and head of Schwab Advisor Services. “In less than a decade, the firm has built a reputation in the industry and in their community that exemplifies the benefits as well as the promise of the Registered Investment Advisor model.”
As a part of the Pacesetter Impact Award, Schwab will make a $15,000 donation on behalf of Paracle, to Seattle-based Treehouse, a charity that benefits foster children. This donation and the continued partnership with Paracle will help kids in foster care graduate from school with a plan for their future. Paracle has a strong history of involvement with Treehouse, through board positions, foster parenting and volunteer hours. “We are delighted about the donation that Schwab will be making on our behalf to Treehouse, and its ability to keep programs going that will help foster kids prepare for their future,” states Paracle Founder, Anne Marie Kessler.
